New Cambodia e-Arrival Card
New Cambodia e-Arrival Card -
Starting on the 1st July 2024, Cambodia will introduce a new electronic-arrival (CeA) card that all travellers must fill out an online e-immigration form within seven days before they arrive. The official website is where you can find this form for free or on mobile applications through Google Play and App Store.
How do I complete a New Cambodian e-Arrival Card?
Registration: Travelers should take a photo and upload their passport information.
Complete E-Arrival Card: This step replaces the traditional paper immigration forms, health declarations, and customs declarations.
QR Code: Once finished with your application you will receive a QR code which needs to saved by travelers on their phones or printed out as then presented when submitting it to immigration.
If not filled out online beforehand there will be some standby machines at immigration where visitors can fill them out upon arrival.
The intention behind introducing e-Arrival card is to simplify entry procedure thus making it easier for people coming through customs but also improve overall efficiency levels while reducing paperwork involved; this being achieved through digitalizing these processes since it contributes towards modernization efforts aimed at enhancing travel experience for international arrivals into Cambodia.
