The neighborhood is so colorful with its painted houses, strange stores and busy streets, that it is a real feast for the eyes. You surely would want to take photographs and if you feel the need, you could go to the cafe for a short rest because a history lesson, after all, could make one feel hungry.
Lunch at an Irish Trad Pub: Local Food: Local Life:
What an adventure! I think it’s time for lunch. Wander around an Irish trad pub and order some food to sample the local cuisine.
It’s really an opportunity to relish traditional food and enjoy the admired Irish pubs. Bonus: You may even have a story or two along with that meal!
Trinity College and the Book of Kells: A Literary Delight:
After lunch, it’s off to Trinity College where you will be amazed by the Book of Kells, an illuminated Bible that is every bit ancient and bewitching. A stroll through the Long Room and you will feel as though you are inside a book set. This was a perfect finale to all the history tour we embarked on, with a sprinkle of magical scholarly vibe.
