Top Business Travel Destination Asia : Ho Chi Minh City
Watch out, Singapore, Bangkok, and all you other fancy cities—Ho Chi Minh City just snagged the title of "Asia’s Leading Business Travel Destination" at the World Travel Awards 2024. That’s right, for the third year in a row, Vietnam’s southern superstar is sitting pretty at the top. The announcement came at a swanky ceremony in the Philippines, and Ho Chi Minh was like, “Thanks for the crown, we’ll take another!”
And if that wasn’t enough, Ho Chi Minh City decided to throw in a side of fun with its business hustle, bagging "Asia’s Leading Festival & Event Destination" too. This city can close a million-dollar deal at 9 a.m. and throw a street festival by 9 p.m.—seriously, what more could you ask for?

Known for its sleek infrastructure and a buffet of luxury hotels and resorts, this city is basically a one-stop-shop for business meetings, events, and the occasional rooftop cocktail hour. In fact, with 16,542 rooms spread across 116 properties, you’ll never have to worry about running out of places to crash after a long day of “networking” (read: fancy dinner with drinks). Plus, that’s a 6% increase in hotel rooms from last year—just in case you’re keeping score.
Since 1993, the World Travel Awards have been like the Oscars for tourism, and Ho Chi Minh City is definitely winning Best Lead Role. Whether you’re here to seal the deal or get your festival groove on, one thing’s for sure—Ho Chi Minh City is the place that does business by day and knows how to party by night.
