Lawrence of Arabia - a desert adventure in Abu Dhabi

"From Camels to Kebabs: A Desert Adventure in Abu Dhabi You'll Never Forget"

Our desert journey kicks off in true Bedouin style: by hopping onto camels, the original (and slightly grumpier) mode of desert transportation. Think of it as Uber, but with more attitude and occasional snorting. As you awkwardly settle onto your camel, trying to figure out how to look graceful for that inevitable group photo, you’ll find yourself swaying through the dunes like a desert explorer—or someone who’s just realized they have a sudden fear of heights.

The camel convoy is a great chance to bond with your fellow adventurers as you all exchange nervous glances, clinging to the reins, and mutter things like, “This is safe, right?” But hey, it's the desert! You’re embracing serenity! Or at least, you’re embracing the fact that your camel has decided to take its own route… which may or may not involve stopping to eat whatever random plant it finds.

At 2xceed we will make sure this is a fabulous desert adventure in Abu Dhabi for you and your clients!

Eventually, after feeling like you’ve just crossed half of Arabia (it’s actually been 20 minutes), you’ll arrive at a stunning desert camp. This is where things go from “Survivor: Camel Edition” to “Luxury Desert Getaway.” You’ll dismount—gracefully, or not so much—and head into a traditional Bedouin-style camp where you can finally relax.

Need a moment to recover from the camel drama? Try some henna painting! Nothing says "I survived a camel" like beautiful designs on your hands that make you feel like a desert queen or king. If henna's not your style, don a flowing traditional outfit and pose for some photos, because if you didn’t get a picture of yourself looking like an extra in "Lawrence of Arabia," did the trip even happen?

Feeling fancy? Try a puff of shisha, the traditional water pipe, as you lounge under a tent and pretend you're a desert sultan deciding the fate of your kingdom (or whether to go for seconds on dessert). The camp is all about chilling out, laughing about how your camel was clearly the most stubborn one, and preparing for the feast ahead.

As the sun sets over the dunes, painting the sky in breathtaking colors, it’s time for a BBQ dinner. Not just any dinner, mind you—an Arabian BBQ extravaganza. There will be grilled meats, flavorful salads, and enough sweets to make you wonder how many more plates you can fit on the table. It’s a buffet of epic proportions, where the only rule is “taste everything, twice.”

And while you’re busy sampling every last bit of the feast, you’ll be treated to live entertainment that takes this desert experience to the next level. The belly dancing is mesmerizing, and as the dancer moves effortlessly to the music, you'll start to wonder if you could ever pull that off (the answer is no, but it’s fun to dream). Then comes the Tanoura dance, which involves spinning in circles for so long that you get dizzy just watching it. It's like the desert version of a hypnotic trance—except there's also food.
