Nonstop LAX to Shanghai from Delta : Pack Your Bags, It’s Happening in June 2025!

Get ready, globe-trotters—Delta is bringing back nonstop service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Shanghai (PVG) in June 2025! And they’re not just rolling out any old plane; this flight will be on their snazzy Airbus A350, fully loaded with enough perks to make you wonder if you should’ve packed your pajamas for the flight.

Delta One: The VIP Treatment You Didn't Know You Needed

There’s good news for those who are going to be travelling Delta One, prepare your inner spoilt self (minus the cameras - unless that’s what you want to do). First, a private TSA screening will take place prior to boarding. Next, a guest will be escorted to the Delta One Lounge where a white glove service literally exists. The lounge area is like standing room only for almost two hundred people, so you are likely to have more space to stretch than on your living room couch before the flight. So you think that’s all relaxed after the journey? Nope. Lie flat seats, meals from a chef, and drinks that taste as if they are waiting for you to say “I’ve arrived”. This is flying where you don’t just go – you don’t only go but rather arrive.

For the Rest of Us: No FOMO Here

Not flying Delta One? Don’t worry—Delta didn’t forget about you! It does not matter if you are in Delta Premium Select (hello, wider seats and extra legroom), Delta Comfort+, or even in the Main Cabin; there are still things to look forward to. Over 1,000 hours of entertainment via Delta Studio is also available since there’s nothing better than vegetating in front of a favorite show at 35000 feet and the entire season is just for binging, why settle for just one movie? And what if you love fancy hand foods (who doesn’t?) Delta serves a fine menu of food and drinks even if you have no chances of being in First Class.

The Perks Keep Coming: Terminal 3 Gets a Glow-Up

Don’t sleep on Delta’s upgrades at LAX Terminal 3, either! With a centralized check-in lobby, Digital ID-enabled security, and the Delta Sky Club (named North America’s Best Airline Lounge, mind you), your airport experience will be smoother than a first-class gin martini. Basically, you’ll be lounging before you’re even airborne.

China, Here We Come!

With the relaunch of this LAX-Shanghai route, Delta’s clocking in at a total of 17 flights a week to China, including from Detroit and Seattle. So, whether you’re chasing business deals, cultural adventures, or just an epic bowl of Shanghai noodles, Delta’s got you.
