The first direct flight from the US by Delta Airlines
To enhance the travel experience between Greek islands and the US, Delta has partnered with SKY express in Greece
March 2023 – Customers in North America can reach 34 destinations in Greece and Cyprus.
For passengers travelling to Greece from North America, Delta Air Lines and Greek carrier SKY express have merged to provide seamless travel connections. This summer, Delta is increasing its number of flights between the United States and Athens with Atlanta, Boston and New York-JFK flights, reflecting Greece’s increased popularity among American travelers.
Starting May 19th, Delta customers originating from North America will be able to take one of Delta’s daily nonstop flights to Athens followed by a smooth transfer onto one of SKY express’ 34 breath-taking locations throughout Greece and Cyprus. The pleasant destinations for travelers on their way back home or tourists who are visiting these countries include beautiful Mykonos Island; Kefalonia Island; Santorini Island as well as kid-friendly vacation spots like Crete Island together with Corfu Island while Larnaca city found on Cypriot island is within reach.
