Escape to Milford Sound, where the exceptional beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site will stun you. Located just a hop and a skip away from Queenstown, it is an invitation to plunge into untouched nature.

Picture yourself on serene waters surrounded by clouds touching cliffs and waterfalls that seem to cascade from the heavens while they hum their own natural tune. Keep an eye out for dolphins and seals, who enjoy performing for visitors.

However, Milford Sound is not only beautiful; it’s also teeming with wildlife. The Fiordland Crested Penguin and New Zealand Falcon – two rare birds – can be seen soaring through the sky here in all their glory. You might even spot some humpback whales showing off because it seems like consciousness of being among the most pristine places on earth infects them too.

There are many ways for people who are feeling particularly adventurous to dive headfirst into what may seem like just another pretty face: Mitre Peak rises dramatically 1,692 meters above sea level at its heart – making it one heck of an eyeful! It got its name due to looking so much like the hats worn by bishops during religious ceremonies but what’s really interesting about this peak is not only does mitre have one summit but rather five closely packed together summits each adding more mystery than before!

Mitre Peak may stand tall but there are other stars in town too. For instance Elephant reaches 1517 meters high while Lion boasts 1302meters worth of altitude under his belt… or should we say mane? These mountains earned these names because they look exactly like what their titles suggest – animals so regal that any king would be proud having them as pets popping up left right centre around every corner amongst other peaks forming part part surrounding areas thus creating nothing less than magical vistas throughout milford sound itself as well as its immediate vicinity which begs belief given how wonderful everything else already sounds without even mentioning those parts further afield.

Milford Sound is an adventurer’s dream come true. Strap on your hiking boots and hit the trails for some rainforest treasure hunting or grab a kayak and paddle through hidden nooks and crannies – the choice is yours to make!

The word ‘majestic’ just doesn’t do justice when describing Mitre Peak; this towering beauty stands proud at 1,692 metres above sea level right in the heart of Milford Sound. It got its name due to looking like one huge bishop hat but what makes it even more intriguing than ever before? Well, surprise surprise mitres don’t have single points such as mountains do… in fact they have five closely packed together summits each adding another layer mystery surrounding them all making this peak anything other that ordinary which could be said about most things here actually!

Nonetheless, although Mitre might be the highest point within these waters there are still plenty more tops worth noting too including Elephants which reaches 1517 meters high whereas Lions stand tall boasting 1302meters worth altitude under their belts… or should we say manes? These mountains earned such names because funnily enough elephants look just like giant versions of those animals whilst nearby lions resemble large feline creatures so magnificent any king would want them as pets popping up left right centre around every corner amongst various others forming part part surrounding areas thus creating nothing less magical vistas throughout milford sound itself let alone its immediate vicinity which begs belief given how wonderful everything else sounds without even mentioning anything further away from home.
