Air China Launches One Stop South America Route

Air China Launches One Stop South America Route -

Going by the given instructions, there are some fantastic news you need to be prepared for in aviation. Air China is preparing to restart its flight services to South America from this April and it’s a big deal! This move is making waves in the aviation industry, especially because it will introduce the world's longest one-stop flight service.

So what is the scoop? Well, two times per week, Air China will fly from Beijing Capital to São Paulo, which is directly serving São Paulo’s Chinese Brazilian population. Cool, huh?

When looking at Cirium’s cool data on flight schedules for May – August 2024 even on GCMap distances really show that this route stands out among others.

Now there are other long-distance routes like Aeromexico’s Mexico City-Monterrey-Seoul and KLM’s Amsterdam-Buenos Aires-Santiago but they cannot compare with Air China’s new service. Over the last couple of decades, many carriers have offered single stop flights between Asia and South America albeit none has provided direct links from China except Air China.

Nonetheless this isn’t Air China’s first time on this route. Initially they had started flying from China via Madrid to South America back in December 2006. Over the years, it has seen different upgrades starting with Boeing 767 then moving onto Airbus A330-200 before finally shifting into more fuel efficient Boeing 787-9s come year 2017.Unfortunately due to Covid-19 pandemic they had to stop operating but now they are back!

Important details about the One Stop South America Route:

Flights from Beijing to Madrid and then on to São Paulo will operate on Thursdays and Sundays

This is a rare daytime service from South America across Europe

The journey to Brazil will take just under 26 hours

the return trip to China will be around 22 and a half hours

This comeback does not only demonstrate that Air China remains devoted to interconnecting continents but also it gives tourists and the global Chinese community more options. It will definitely promote tourism and strengthen cultural ties between China, Spain and Brazil. So fasten your seat belts because here is a new way of flying between China and South America.
