However, Singapore is more than just tall buildings or shopping malls; It’s where different races coexist harmoniously each with its own values and traditions which should never be overlooked when one visits there. Hence after our city tour ends off we will engage ourselves into something practical that connects us with their culture even better than being told what they do all day long!
Prepare yourself for some hands-on creativity! We are going to show you how to make traditional Peranakan beaded slippers known locally as ‘kasut manek’. With guidance from skilled artisans, learn beadwork techniques while designing these unique shoes which can serve as souvenirs from this trip too. This activity not only allows us appreciate rich Peranakan heritage but also brings out our artistic skills – so much fun!!!
Well now let’s talk about food – no trip would be complete without trying out local dishes somewhere along those busy streets filled with hawker centers all over town!! After participating actively in such cultural events throughout morning hours I am sure by lunch time everybody will already feel very hungry indeed…and thus we shall take them through one such place before heading back home during evening hours too!
