We think it is important to go beyond the basics of ethical business practices and embrace our responsibility to people and to the environment. Specifically, Shackman Associates:

We assert these high standards and “green initiatives” for ourselves, our clients and our venues.  We have worked with clients to map the “carbon footprint” that our programs create and explored ways to offset the negative effects this may have on the environment.

 Is committed to community awareness – We work with our client and partners to create programs that give back to the community.  From teambuilding “cleanup” programs in New York’s public parks to donating musical instruments to New York public schools, to name a few, Shackman Associates emphasizes the importance of community activism to our clients.

Fighting Hunger Through Team-Building in NYC. Shackman Associates have again been able to organize a great team-building event, Fighting Hunger Through Team-Building in NYC, that positively contributed to the fight against hunger in America. Millions of families every year in America are affected by hunger, and for this, the United States has to come together. Shackman Group crafted the event to actually make a difference and at the same time also raise awareness. This challenge was clear, but during the event, participants learned more about hunger and food insecurity in America, while also getting together and stuffing bags with nourishing foods meant for donation to food banks across the country. People were actively engaged in this team event, and participants worked as a team to package foods like whole grains, canned vegetables, proteins, and wholesome snacks to make sure they catered to the most important needs. These bags were later distributed to hunger-relief organizations that serve families in need. Participants were also informed about the current state of hunger in America: the causes of food insecurity, recent statistics, and how people and organizations can help. Shackman Associates spared no effort when it came to planning Fighting Hunger Through Team-Building in NYC.
