This famous Cricket World Cup would be conducted from June3-June12 at Nassau Country International Cricket Stadium. The Glen Cove New York is where the Nassau stadium is located.
The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup and it takes place once in every two years according to the International Cricket Council. It will be hosted by West Indies and United States from 1st June to 29th June,2024.
It’s also the first time that ever world cup matches are played in United States of America.
Three venues have been chosen for World Cup in United States which included Lauderhill (Central Broward Park), Dallas (Grand Prairie Stadium) and New York (Nassau County Stadium).
New York will host a temporary stadium for 34000 people only created specifically for this event. Amazing isn’t it? Moreover, Fort Lauderdale and Dallas stadiums already exist but they will be doubled during the world cup period.
Caribbean Islands of Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, St Lucia, St Vincent & The Grenadines are among six venues hosting matches.
England cricket team are reigning champions having defeated Pakistan in their previous final match. After group stage games top two teams from each group shall form two groups each comprising of four teams into super eight stage.
