Events in Las Vegas to plan for

The city of Las Vegas is ever-populated with sights and spectacles that are bound to capture the spirit of its visitors. Entertainment shows are not the only thing visitors will enjoy during their stay in Las Vegas, as there are music, food, and art festivals all year round. And if that is not enough, large scale street parades are held on the Las Vegas Strip and all other notable places around the city/country.

Of course certain events are bound to reach a bigger audience. The city’s Event Calendar is particularly famous for its celebrations after New Year, Electric Daisy Carnival or Life is Beautiful Fest that is noted for combining world of music and art with world of delicious foods. Any visitor wishing to witness amazing shows, sporting contests or just about anything unusual for them, will have plenty of those opportunities while in Las Vegas.

Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC)

Las Vegas becomes even more vibrant each May with the Electric Daisy Carnival, one of the most popular electronic music festivals in the world. The only thing that EDC does not lack are the large turns & drives where famous DJs perform all together with exciting attractions and unusual art in a neon setting. It’s a multi-day experience that attracts massive crowd because of the music, lights and the spectacular scenery that is distinctive of the Las Vegas entertainment center.

National Finals Rodeo (NFR)

The month of December witnesses the National Finals Rodeo which makes its way to Las Vegas, where the best fans can witness rodeo sports at the Thomas & Mack Center. Nicknamed the Super Bowl of Rodeo, this activity features competitions for ten days in various disciplines such as bull riding and barrel racing. Las Vegas also plays host to the NFR which gives the audience a feel of the Wild West with country music, cowboy activities, and thousands of fans attending from all over America.
