During this time sumalak, a sweet form of wheat porridge, is made and shared, and people take part in different practices to welcome the new season in joy and prosperity.

Boysun Bahori

Boysun Bahori is festival that takes place in the mountainous Boysun area during early May. It has been included into the UNESCO’s list for its cultural heritage. The program of events includes exhibitions presenting traditional crafts and performances by folk groups playing their national tunes and dancing.
