Podgorica Marathon 2025 - A Running Experience Unlike Any Other

Dates: 9th November 2025. The Podgorica Marathon of 2025 is going to be unique in ways that are yet unimaginable, bringing together contestants from every corner of the world with its rich heritage and beauty of the Capita of Montenegro. Event Details and Categories

To cater to all kinds of contestants, the marathon has a number of categories that all promote fair competition:

5 km Fun Run: This race is suitable for everyone, as it encourages family committment. Starting at 10:15 am.

10 km Race: Fostering an environment of self challenge and discipline, participants are recommended to tackle the fun run at 10:00 am.

Half Marathon: This race allows seasoned runners to aims to test their endurance, launching at the same time as the 10 km race at 10:00 am

Full Marathon: Comprehensive tour of Podgorica, where all participants get to see and admire the unique blend of urban and natural beauty. The main event commences at 10:00 am.

A symbol of the city, the Millennium Bridge is both the starting point for all races as well as the finishing point. All chosen routes are approved both by the AIMS and the IAAF so rest assured, there are set wind standards and the distances are accurate.

Key Concern

With the help of the application online, participants will be able to acheive a compehensive view of neigborhoods such as Masline, Zlatica, and Zagoric. The track goes through the Park Gorica and the wide 13. Jul Plantaze vineyard, alongside the banks of the Morača River, providing a beautiful and captivating view. While running, they will pass through seven bridges, each of them having different atmospheres and perspectives.

Enrollment

Continuing from Podgorica, the runners are also encouraged to register in advance. Registration costs are charged differently depending on the race and the time they were done.

A 5 km race is charged fifteen to twenty euros, a ten kilometer one for twenty five to thirty five euros, a half and a full marathon for thirty to fifty and forty to sixty euros respectively.

The registration costs cover a timing chip, a bib accompanied with a medal, and a tshirt for those registering early. Furthermore goodies such as bite bars will be provided for half and full marathoners.

Award

The strongest competing Podgorica Marathon finally has a cash prize of fifteen thousand euros. Winners of cash prizes are the first three individuals who finish the marathon. Additionally two winners from the Half Marathon distance and one winner from the 10 km race will also be awarded. The winners are aged in each group, so the measuring type marathon and half marathon are guaranteed broad acknowledgements.

Support and Amenities

To make certain that the event is seamless and fun, the marathon makes available a myriad of amenities:

Refreshment Stations: These are placed at regular intervals on the course of the run; there are 13 stations for the entire marathon.

First Aid: Medical personnel will be stationed all over the course, while ambulances will trail on the heels of the last runners.

Post-Race Facilities: These consist of showers, changing areas, and food to aid in post-race rehabilitation, and ensure that participants leave feeling fresh.
