Cairo Adventure: Pharaohs, Pyramids, Bazaar Bliss
Cairo Adventure: Pharaohs, Pyramids, Bazaar Bliss
Ever wondered what it feels like to be a time-traveling adventurer with a VIP pass to the ancient world? Well, buckle up your explorer hat and grab your sunscreen because Cairo is about to whisk you away on a whirlwind journey through history, and it’s going to be epic.
Unlock the Secrets of the City of Cairo
Pyramids of Giza – the pinnacle of ancient civilization real estate: Begin your day by visiting the Giza Pyramids because which person would love not visiting the world’s oldest, and probably the most intriguing piece of real estate ever I mean doesn't want to check out the world’s oldest real estate. A critical examination of these massive constructions at trying to assess exactly how they were assembled without a single IKEA instructions manual is commended, and Sphinx- picture taking is encouraged—relax, he wouldn’t bite.
Egyptian Museum: See all the Things Including the Gold Mummy: When done, next up, it is time to face the Egyptian Museum, where treasures that would leave any Pharaoh turning in his grave spread out right in front of you. There are many other astonishing treasures from the golden Tutankhamun masks to mummies that look like they just got out of bed it is an eye candy and a survival guide to the lavish splendor of ancient Egypt.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar: The Shopping Experience of a Lifetime (Well for Us – Maybe Not For Our Credit Card): And after all this history, comes the time to do some shopping as they like to call it. Proceed to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is Egyptian’s active market where if you do not enjoy haggling then you better learn how to love it. Everything from spices that would put your grandma's cooking to shame to your favorite vacation souvenirs which will make you the hit of the dinner.
How to Enjoy Cairo to the Max
Hydrate Like a Pharaoh: It’s hot out there, so keep water close and stay hydrated. You wouldn’t want to be the one who got a sunburn in the land of eternal sunshine.
Dress for the Occasion: Trainers are essential since you will have to do a lot of walking, maybe some dancing as well if the rhythm works for you at the bazaar. No comments about the sunburnt dome, so get a hat as well.
Camera Ready: And don’t forget to bring your camera or smartphone, ’cause you’ll definitely want to take a few pictures. The pyramids, the treasures – even the crazy bazaar are worth photographing!
Get Ready to Haggle: Go ahead and haggle. I know it’s a pity, but this has to be done when you go to the bazaar. Better than being on stage performing, because instead of keg stands you’ll chop off the ears of the negotiation!

Eurowings Expands to the Gulf
Eurowings Expands to the Gulf: More Sand, More Sun, More Shenanigans!
Hold onto your boarding passes, people, because Eurowings is cranking up the thermostat this winter with a bunch of new routes to the Gulf! After their Berlin-Dubai flights became the travel equivalent of toilet paper in a pandemic (seriously, it’s that popular), Eurowings decided to go all-in and take us on the ultimate magic carpet ride. Buckle up, here’s the lowdown:
Berlin-Dubai: The Ultimate Winter Fling!
Looks like Berliners have a full-blown holiday romance with Dubai’s sun, sand, and towering skyscrapers – and honestly, who wouldn’t? Starting this October, Eurowings is turning up the heat by making the Berlin-Dubai route a daily fling. Yep, that’s seven days a week to swap the snowstorm for a sandstorm! Picture yourself lounging by the pool with a cocktail while your friends back home try to pry their frozen windshield wipers free. Now that’s the kind of winter survival we can get behind!
But wait, Stuttgart’s not getting left out in the cold! They’re also jumping on the Dubai bandwagon, with flights increasing from two to three times a week. Time to swap the schnitzel for shawarma and live your best life in the desert!
Cologne/Bonn Crashes the Dubai Party in Winter 2024/25!
As if that wasn’t enough, Eurowings is launching a new route from Cologne/Bonn to Dubai with three weekly flights starting in winter 2024/25. Tickets start at a mere €179.99 one way, which is almost cheaper than a round of drinks at the Christmas market.
Eurowings Does Saudi Arabia: Jeddah You Believe It?
For the first time ever, Eurowings is flying to Saudi Arabia, and they’re not playing around. They’re rolling out three weekly flights to Jeddah from both Cologne/Bonn and Berlin this winter season. This means you can swap your bratwurst for falafel and have an epic story for when someone asks, “What did you do over the holidays?”
Düsseldorf to Cairo: Pyramids Are Just a Flight Away!
If Dubai and Jeddah aren't your style, how about a little trip to the land of the pharaohs? Eurowings is launching flights from Düsseldorf to Cairo starting October 30, 2024. It’s happening twice a week. Honestly, at this rate, even your coffee addiction is starting to look more expensive.
Attention Dutch Travellers!
Eurowings hasn’t forgotten about our friends from the Netherlands! The new routes from Cologne/Bonn and Düsseldorf are practically calling your name. For those in southern Netherlands, it’s a quick hop over to Düsseldorf (DUS) or Cologne/Bonn (CGN) – making it super easy to jet off to sunny destinations like Dubai and Cairo without breaking the bank. Who needs Schiphol when you’ve got Eurowings around the corner?
So there you have it! This Eurowings Expands to the Gulf means more flights, more destinations, and more chances to escape whatever it is you’re pretending to be busy with. Grab your tickets, slap on some sunscreen, and let Eurowings take you on a ride to the Gulf region. Who knew winter could be this hot?
