A Wild Ride Through San Francisco
A Wild Ride Through San Francisco: Cable Cars, Crooked Streets, and Chowder Bowls!
San Francisco is known for its foggy charm, iconic sights, and some of the quirkiest attractions in the U.S. For an incentive group, what better way to experience it all than by hopping on a cable car, zigzagging through the most crooked street in the world, and finishing up with a warm, hearty bread bowl of clam chowder?
First Stop: Cable Car Chaos
Start your adventure by hopping onto one of San Francisco’s famous cable cars. Hold on tight as you climb those insane hills, because nothing says team bonding like collectively wondering if gravity’s still on your side! You’ll get the best views of the city (and maybe someone’s lunch flying out of their hands as the car lurches forward). Pro tip: Grab an outside spot for the Instagram-worthy shots, but don’t let go, or your ride will become a solo adventure on foot real fast.

Lombard Street: A Zigzag Dream
Next, proceed to Lombard Street, where you’ll encounter eight hairpin turns in one single block . It is an ideal place to take a walk just that, seeking the answer to why on earth anyone would construct a road that almost made no sense owing to its many bends. For those who have ever dreamed of being in the middle of a Mario Kart gamescape, today is the day, minus the banana peels of course. Group selfies here are in order, that is if when this humongous street is fought and conquered, one does not faint from all the spinning.
End with Chowder & Chilling in Fisherman’s Wharf
Finally, wind down in the one place where carbs and seafood live in perfect harmony: Fisherman’s Wharf. Treat your team to clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl so big it could double as a helmet. It’s the ultimate comfort food after a day of thrills, steep hills, and just the right amount of vertigo. Plus, it’ll give you something to brag about besides surviving those cable cars—“I conquered San Francisco and ate a bowl of chowder the size of my head!”
Why A Wild Ride Through San Francisco?
In San Francisco, your incentive group gets more than just breathtaking views and famous landmarks. They’ll experience the city’s unique mix of thrill, nostalgia, and excellent food. Whether they’re hanging onto a cable car for dear life or navigating one of the world’s curviest streets, this adventure guarantees laughs, camaraderie, and memories that will last longer than that epic bread bowl!
Legendary Day Out in San Francisco
Legendary Day Out in San Francisco: From Jailbreaks to Bridge Walks and Bison Sightings
Ready to check off some San Francisco bucket list spots? Great! Grab your camera, stretch those legs, and prepare for a day that’ll take you from a famous island prison to a stunning suspension bridge and, finally, some laid-back park wandering. Trust me, this day’s got it all—prison cells, epic views, and even bison. Yep, bison. Let’s get rolling!
Stop #1: Alcatraz Island – The Only Time You’ll Brag About Visiting Prison
First up, Alcatraz. Ever dreamt of being locked up in a tiny cell with a great view of the bay? No? Well, too bad, because that’s what you're in for (minus the locked up part). Alcatraz is legendary for being home to criminals like Al Capone and “Birdman” Stroud, but these days it’s more of a tourist hotspot than a criminal hideout. Walk the spooky cell blocks, listen to the audio tour that sounds suspiciously like a crime podcast, and imagine what it would’ve been like trying to break out. Spoiler alert: You’re not breaking out—except maybe with a new appreciation for gift shop mugs.

Stop #2: The Golden Gate Bridge – The Prettiest Workout You Didn’t Know You Signed Up For
Next, it’s time to cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Get ready for a scenic stroll that’ll have your Instagram feed thanking you later. Sure, it’s not actually golden (San Francisco loves a plot twist), but it’s definitely one of the most gorgeous walks you’ll ever take. The views are breathtaking, the wind is aggressive, and the fog? Oh, it’ll show up just as you’re snapping your 67th selfie. But hey, that’s the Golden Gate experience! Just keep walking, take in the beauty, and try not to get whacked in the face by a rogue tourist map.
Stop #3: Golden Gate Park – The Place to Chill, Spot Bison, and Pretend You’re Outdoorsy
After all that excitement, it’s time to relax in Golden Gate Park, which is basically San Francisco’s answer to “Hey, let’s throw everything cool into one giant space.” You’ve got gardens, lakes, museums, and yes, actual bison—because why not? Stroll through the Japanese Tea Garden, rent a paddleboat on Stow Lake, or just find a cozy bench and wonder how the park manages to be so peaceful while the rest of the city is busy conquering those infamous hills. Golden Gate Park is like the city’s chill-out zone, and after your jail-to-bridge adventure, you’ll deserve some laid-back vibes.
Why This Legendary Day Out in San Francisco is a must do
This isn’t just any old tour—it’s the San Francisco trifecta of awesome. From the eerie halls of Alcatraz to the jaw-dropping beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge, and finally, the zen vibes of Golden Gate Park (complete with surprise bison appearances), this day is packed with enough fun to make your next dinner party stories top-notch. Just think of the bragging rights: “Oh, I spent the day at a prison, crossed a world-famous bridge, and then hung out with bison. You?”
So lace up, pack a jacket (seriously, it gets windy), and get ready for a San Francisco adventure you’ll never forget!
Air Travel: New Paths Unveiled
Air Travel: New Paths Unveiled : New Routes, New Adventures, and Plenty of Legroom (Well, Maybe)
As global air travel continues to recover in 2024, airlines around the world are pulling out all the stops, launching new routes to connect us to far-flung corners of the globe. Whether you’re itching for a quick getaway to a tropical paradise or plotting a sneaky business trip somewhere exotic (we see you!), these airlines have got you covered. Let’s dive into the latest flight paths that’ll get you soaring—literally—from Jetstar’s Perth to Bangkok to Airlink’s brand-new Cape Town to Gaborone service.
Jetstar’s New Perth to Bangkok Route: Bringing Pad Thai Closer
It’s been love-hate relationship with Jetstar, a budget carrier famous for taking you from point A to point B with a toll that is not exorbitant, because in the year 2024, things are changing. On September 6, the Australian carrier will start operations between Perth and Bangkok, offering up to four flights per week. That means, you might be chomping on some street food in the meandering lanes of Bangkok, yet retaining the “breakfast toastie” from the airline inside you. There is room for adventure!
Why Perth to Bangkok, You Ask?
After family trips to Sydney and Perth, Bangkok is the it destination for anyone who loves crazy streets and markets and fancy temples and has a nightlife that makes your average weekend look like a PTA meeting. Also, with this route being launched, the demand for direct Australia-Southeastern Asia route flights is fulfilled. It is part of a larger scheme to position Perth as a Jetstar operational centre for the Asia Pacific, in addition to their already busy routes of Singapore and Phuket. So if you love low prices on tickets and even more reasons to fly, then Jetstar is the airline for you.
And with a new pilot base covering four Airbus A321LR at Perth Airport, Jetstar is now on a beauty parade with Western Australia. For those who think a tiki souvenir is a bit too much or those who plan a rather spontaneous fly to Bangkok today (or rather relish snacks offered by in-flight managers), would do it now!
Airlink’s Cape Town to Gaborone Route: Diamonds and Table Mountain, Anyone?
Not to be outdone, South Africa’s very own Airlink is giving us something new to look forward to, too. Come 1st April 2025 (and nope not an April fools joke), you will be able to explore direct flight services between Cape Town, South Africa and Gaborone, Botswana, thanks to the South African government and cease-fire. The only thing that gets better than doing away with a layover at an airport? Recognising the fact that the person sitting next to you probably doesn’t even know that either of the two cities on the layover is on the map—bragging rights galore!
Why Fly Cape Town to Gaborone?
If you have ever wanted to shift your base from a wine growing region to one housing diamond mines gradually then this is the time for you. Gaborone is the political center of Botswana and is known to attract lots of business tycoons particularly in the mineral and financial sectors. As for Cape Town, famous for the Table Mountain, more than just beaches and art galleries to safaris, introduction is superfluous. This route works well for both body in suits and ones in pursuit of unhindered sunsets for camera clicks.
Airlink’s Rodger Foster summed it up best: “Cape Town and Gaborone? Dream team.” (Okay, we may have paraphrased a bit there). Expect the airline’s comfy Embraer E140 to zip you across southern Africa with ease—44 seats, no turbulence (we hope), and zero layover drama.
Air Arabia Connects Sharjah to Warsaw: The UAE Meets Pierogi
Even Air Arabia is in a hurry and announces a new service connecting the two cities – Sharjah and Warsaw beginning December 2024. So for those who want dunes and the capital of Poland it’s a Win Win. Operating 5 flights a week means that you could be relaxing in a cafe in Warsaw one day and the next day be immersing yourself in the culture of Sharjah.
This is Air Arabia’s second entry into the Polish market after Krakow. So take your handbag with you as well as the one for the pierogi and extend your gratitude towards Air Arabia for making the East and the West not very far from one another. “Two cities known for their rich history and culture are going to be connected now,” so came the Group CEO of the company, Adel Al Ali, who is pretty stoked about the new route. This translates into: This flight is a must!
Not Every Flight Soars: Transavia France Pulls the Plug on Paris Orly to Pau
Within the ongoing expansion of network after network, however, not all off routes proved useful. Transavia France has chosen to withdraw its service Paris Orly to Pau – for winter 2024, they will take a short break. Let’s be frank, it’s hard to lose some flights, some of them will have to sink and at times, people are just not interested no matter how any endeavors are made.
