Events in Argentina

Argentina is a country with exuberance and culture. Activities here range from huge football celebrations to folk festive occasions. This diversity of ethnicities and cultural exchanges is also evident in tango shows, gaucho customs, and street festivities.

Several of the most thrilling festivities in the summer season revolve around national holidays such as the May Revolution and Independence Day, during which streets are jubilantly filled with music and dance and treated with food. And how could we forget Carnival, a season of bright attires, drums, and buoyancy.

We strive to highlight all the main events, but if there's an event you think should be featured, please let us know at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia

Every first weekend in March, the Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia, celebrated in the wine center – Mendoza, is one of the largest festivals in Argentina. This warm-hearted celebration is dedicated to the grape collection and the centuries-old history of winemaking in Argentina. Featuring parades, folk music, folk dances, and the election of the Harvest Queen it is a colorful display of the culture of the people. An extravagant show is the last act of the festival as the patrons of the amphitheater Frank Romero Day, celebrate the crop of the year with fireworks and other performances.

Día de la Tradición

In Argentina, a nation that takes pride in its folk heritage and national identity, every 10th of November, is observed as the Día de la Tradición (The Day of Tradition). This day is in remembrance of José Hernández, who has authored the well-known gaucho epic “Martín Fierro”. It is mostly observed in the countryside and less populated areas where people dress up in traditional attire and there are gaucho, horse riding, and even Argentine music and dances. A moving homage to the gaucho culture and rural traditions that still shape the nation today.
