Karaoke Battle in Tokyo
Karaoke Battle in Tokyo: Sing Your Heart Out (and Hope You Don't Lose)
Ready to unleash your inner rock star? Forget about boring meetings and dull team-building exercises. Thanks to the capital city of Japan, Tokyo, prepare to take what could have been an ordinary reward trip and turn it into probably the best live performance you have ever had in the history of your life – singing all your favorite songs and dancing like no one is watching (although, we know it, people are watching everyone).
Need assistance with groups and incentives in Tokyo? Contact us today!
Here’s the deal: you and your group are about to dive into a Karaoke Battle in Tokyo that’s all about the glitz, glamour, and questionable vocal choices. You’ll get a private room complete with flashing lights, a mic, and an impressive song list that ranges from 80s power ballads to 90s boy band hits. No judgment if you belt out “I Will Survive” with all the heart you’ve got—or totally butcher it. Karaoke is all about the performance, not perfection!
The challenge? To out-sing, out-dance, and out-perform your colleagues. You’ll have to bring your A-game, so start practicing that air guitar solo or your best moonwalk. No one’s here for shy and timid. We’re here for theatrics. Bonus points if you throw in a dramatic hand gesture or pretend to lose your balance during a high note. It’s all part of the show!
Of course, it wouldn’t be karaoke without snacks and drinks. Between belting out “Livin’ on a Prayer” and getting some much-needed hydration (and courage), you’ll be munching on crispy fried chicken, sushi, and other Japanese comfort food. Trust us, you’ll need all the energy to keep those performances going strong.
Who will take the throne? Is it the one who hits every single note? Or maybe the other who doesn’t hit any note but makes everyone laugh so much that they do not mind? In any case, you will walk out with incredible memories, tighter relationships with your teammates and, most likely, a sore throat.
Karaoke in Tokyo is definitely a 'yes' – just do not say we should be blamed when your colleagues start asking for more!
Unleash Your Inner Samurai in Tokyo
Unleash Your Inner Samurai in Tokyo
Are you ready to unleash your inner samurai right in the heart of Tokyo? If you’ve ever watched a samurai movie and thought, “That could be me if only I had a sword and the slightest bit of coordination,” then the Samurai Sword Experience is calling your name. This isn't some ordinary tourist activity—think of it as the ultimate blend of ancient Japanese history, way too much excitement, and a few hilarious moments as you try not to accidentally smack your neighbor.
Need assistance with groups and incentives in Tokyo? Contact us today!
So, You Think You’re Ready to Be a Samurai?
First things first, you’ll step into a dojo, or as we call it in tourist terms, “a place that might make you feel way out of your depth.” Picture a zen-like space with minimal decor, the kind of place that says, “We’re about to do something epic.” Here, the instructors—actual samurai descendants or maybe just people really committed to the lifestyle—will give you a quick crash course on samurai history. You'll hear legendary stories of courage, loyalty, and honor... and realise just how far you've come from the days when you’d abandon your friends for the nearest Starbucks.
Time to Get Hands-On… or Hands-Off, if You’re Nervous
Now for the main event: the sword training! You’ll start with a practice katana, which is the high-end sports car of swords, except you have no idea how to drive it. The instructors will take you through the basics, including how to look fierce without actually threatening anyone’s personal space. And while you might start off with your best “I’m-so-ready-for-this” face, there’s a solid chance you’ll end up stumbling around like you’re wielding a giant toothpick.
Brace yourself for some hands-on guidance on the essentials of samurai swordplay, from posture to basic swings. There might be a moment (or several) where you glance around, wondering why everyone else looks like a mini samurai in the making while you’re still figuring out where to put your feet. And then there’s the heroic posing—you’ll want to capture every attempt for Instagram, of course, so remember to smile as fiercely as you can.
Your Big Samurai Fight Scene—Hollywood, Here We Come
Just when you think you’re getting the hang of it, the instructors hit you with the real reason you’re here: a mini, choreographed samurai fight scene. Think of this as your chance to finally live out all those childhood dreams of being a sword-swinging action hero. You’ll learn a few “moves” (enough to look cool in a Boomerang video, at least), strike some dramatic poses, and finish off with a grand “final blow” that might impress everyone—or at least make them laugh. Add a battle cry, throw on a pair of dramatic samurai robes, and voilà! You’re practically the next big thing in samurai cinema.
Leaving the Dojo (Hopefully in One Piece)
After your sword-wielding debut, you’ll leave with a newfound appreciation for the real samurai. Let’s face it, these people had serious skills—and stamina. And you? You have the memories of the day you tried to be a deadly warrior, felt incredibly unbalanced, and almost knocked over a fellow traveler.
So if you’re looking to try something totally unique, highly entertaining, and slightly terrifying, this samurai experience in Tokyo is an absolute must. Just remember to keep your limbs inside the practice area at all times and resist the urge to take that sword home as a souvenir!
This is just an example of what there is to offer in the wonderful Japan. Want to plan something else in Japen? Check out some of the other top activities on offer in Japan, custimised itineraries are also possible.
Go karting through Tokyo
Go karting through Tokyo - an exciting discovery of our city
Fasten your seatbelts! Forget everything you used to know about visiting Tokyo and MaricarExperience will certainly blow your mind. In this case, suppose that you are driving along the bright neon streets of Tokyo in a go-kart, right? Yes! Think Batman, imagine Mario with his mustache or maybe even a giant banana. Honestly speaking, this is what it means.
Then, there is music playing in the background as people gawk at you while you speed past them. Can’t be any other trips but a tour of Tokyo!
This will begin and end at the infamous Akihabara Electric Town where lights seem brighter than future and anime culture stronger than coffee addiction. You’ll observe different streets that probably not everyone else visit and mostly not dressed up in outfit on four tiny wheels.
I mean come on, who wants boring tours anyway? It’s all about becoming part of the scenery and not just sightseeing for that matter. So as ridiculous as it may sound to some people with dull sense of humor like me, I am going to be wearing one extremely stupid looking thingy among millions others around me.
Well because they feel life is too short for serious tours isn’t it? This is always more than just showing someone around; remember that fact. In a silly costume streaking across the city landscape can bring happiness to many innocent souls as well as confusion sometimes envy over another man’s joyous experience even when they do not know him at all.
Anyone who advocates for normalcy is welcome by MaricarExperience company. Whether you are an adventure enthusiast who loves solo exploration or couples seeking some excitement or friends who would love nothing more than making fun out of themselves publicly then this option suits you perfectly well. Of course we shall give you some rules (though nobody wants such accidents) before moving out into the town so that you may concentrate on important issues rather than finding yourself in a situation of this type.
What are you waiting for?

Air Travel: New Paths Unveiled
Air Travel: New Paths Unveiled : New Routes, New Adventures, and Plenty of Legroom (Well, Maybe)
As global air travel continues to recover in 2024, airlines around the world are pulling out all the stops, launching new routes to connect us to far-flung corners of the globe. Whether you’re itching for a quick getaway to a tropical paradise or plotting a sneaky business trip somewhere exotic (we see you!), these airlines have got you covered. Let’s dive into the latest flight paths that’ll get you soaring—literally—from Jetstar’s Perth to Bangkok to Airlink’s brand-new Cape Town to Gaborone service.
Jetstar’s New Perth to Bangkok Route: Bringing Pad Thai Closer
It’s been love-hate relationship with Jetstar, a budget carrier famous for taking you from point A to point B with a toll that is not exorbitant, because in the year 2024, things are changing. On September 6, the Australian carrier will start operations between Perth and Bangkok, offering up to four flights per week. That means, you might be chomping on some street food in the meandering lanes of Bangkok, yet retaining the “breakfast toastie” from the airline inside you. There is room for adventure!
Why Perth to Bangkok, You Ask?
After family trips to Sydney and Perth, Bangkok is the it destination for anyone who loves crazy streets and markets and fancy temples and has a nightlife that makes your average weekend look like a PTA meeting. Also, with this route being launched, the demand for direct Australia-Southeastern Asia route flights is fulfilled. It is part of a larger scheme to position Perth as a Jetstar operational centre for the Asia Pacific, in addition to their already busy routes of Singapore and Phuket. So if you love low prices on tickets and even more reasons to fly, then Jetstar is the airline for you.
And with a new pilot base covering four Airbus A321LR at Perth Airport, Jetstar is now on a beauty parade with Western Australia. For those who think a tiki souvenir is a bit too much or those who plan a rather spontaneous fly to Bangkok today (or rather relish snacks offered by in-flight managers), would do it now!
Airlink’s Cape Town to Gaborone Route: Diamonds and Table Mountain, Anyone?
Not to be outdone, South Africa’s very own Airlink is giving us something new to look forward to, too. Come 1st April 2025 (and nope not an April fools joke), you will be able to explore direct flight services between Cape Town, South Africa and Gaborone, Botswana, thanks to the South African government and cease-fire. The only thing that gets better than doing away with a layover at an airport? Recognising the fact that the person sitting next to you probably doesn’t even know that either of the two cities on the layover is on the map—bragging rights galore!
Why Fly Cape Town to Gaborone?
If you have ever wanted to shift your base from a wine growing region to one housing diamond mines gradually then this is the time for you. Gaborone is the political center of Botswana and is known to attract lots of business tycoons particularly in the mineral and financial sectors. As for Cape Town, famous for the Table Mountain, more than just beaches and art galleries to safaris, introduction is superfluous. This route works well for both body in suits and ones in pursuit of unhindered sunsets for camera clicks.
Airlink’s Rodger Foster summed it up best: “Cape Town and Gaborone? Dream team.” (Okay, we may have paraphrased a bit there). Expect the airline’s comfy Embraer E140 to zip you across southern Africa with ease—44 seats, no turbulence (we hope), and zero layover drama.
Air Arabia Connects Sharjah to Warsaw: The UAE Meets Pierogi
Even Air Arabia is in a hurry and announces a new service connecting the two cities – Sharjah and Warsaw beginning December 2024. So for those who want dunes and the capital of Poland it’s a Win Win. Operating 5 flights a week means that you could be relaxing in a cafe in Warsaw one day and the next day be immersing yourself in the culture of Sharjah.
This is Air Arabia’s second entry into the Polish market after Krakow. So take your handbag with you as well as the one for the pierogi and extend your gratitude towards Air Arabia for making the East and the West not very far from one another. “Two cities known for their rich history and culture are going to be connected now,” so came the Group CEO of the company, Adel Al Ali, who is pretty stoked about the new route. This translates into: This flight is a must!
Not Every Flight Soars: Transavia France Pulls the Plug on Paris Orly to Pau
Within the ongoing expansion of network after network, however, not all off routes proved useful. Transavia France has chosen to withdraw its service Paris Orly to Pau – for winter 2024, they will take a short break. Let’s be frank, it’s hard to lose some flights, some of them will have to sink and at times, people are just not interested no matter how any endeavors are made.
